1. Information handled through this website
SSIK does not currently use first-party analytics, advertising trackers, user accounts, or a website database. Information entered into the Contact or Booking form remains in your browser until the site prepares an email draft. If you close the draft without sending it, SSIK does not receive the form contents.
If you send an email, it may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, service interests, preferred contact window, and any message you choose to provide.
2. Why SSIK uses inquiry information
- To respond to questions and consultation requests.
- To understand an organization's needs and decide whether SSIK is an appropriate fit.
- To prepare a proposed scope, timeline, and price when requested.
- To maintain necessary business, security, accounting, and legal records.
3. Limit what you send
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, private keys, regulated records, vulnerability details, client datasets, or other sensitive system information through the initial inquiry forms. SSIK will establish an appropriate communication method before requesting sensitive engagement material.
4. Service providers and hosting
GitHub Pages hosts this website. GitHub may process technical information such as IP address, device information, request time, pages viewed, and referring site under its own privacy statement.
When you send an inquiry, your email provider and SSIK's email provider process the message. Depending on the provider, information may be stored or processed outside Canada.
5. Sharing and retention
SSIK does not sell inquiry information. Information is shared only when needed to operate the business, deliver an agreed service, obtain professional advice, comply with law, or protect SSIK and others.
SSIK keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, an active or proposed engagement, required business records, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
